JUDGES

Judges are foundational to the integrity and growth of the sport. As streetlifting evolves into a nationally recognized competitive discipline, it is essential that athletes are evaluated under a unified, objective standard—regardless of location or event size.

Our long-term vision is to develop a nationwide network of certified judges who are trained, tested, and consistently held to high standards of officiating. These individuals play a critical role in ensuring fairness, upholding technical standards, and elevating the legitimacy of the sport across every sanctioned meet—year after year.

At USA Streetlifting, we emphasize two core judging principles:

  • Clarity: Rules and movement standards must be communicated clearly to all athletes, coaches, and event staff to prevent confusion and ensure fair competition.

  • Consistency: All judges are expected to apply the rules to the same degree of strictness, ensuring that performances are judged with integrity and uniformity at every level.

This page contains essential resources for judges, aspiring officials, and athletes alike—including judging criteria, licensing details, training modules, and the official list of licensed judges.
